A designer who kept losing the map.
I’m a designer and engineer, now working as a product manager. Years of building products taught me that the useful stuff comes from doing, not theorising. This site is that habit pointed at coffee.
South Africa’s specialty scene deserved an honest, neighbourhood-named directory, and nobody had built one. So I did. Every roaster on the map is researched from their own sources, and every guide gets tested at my own kitchen counter before it ships.
No snobbery, no gatekeeping — just sharp tips for your crew, from someone still on the journey too.
