The story.

Tribe started in 2008 as a guerrilla roasting operation, with American founder Jake Easton buying green beans and leasing time on other people's roasters. These days they roast on Bertha, their own machine, from a big roastery-café on Albert Road in Woodstock. The idea is 'luxury coffee for the masses': source directly from small farmers, keep it affordable, roast it bold. Their Lover's Blend is a full-bodied espresso of honeysuckle, red cherry and cocoa, while the nine-bean Tribe Espresso leans strong and chocolatey.
