One of SA’s biggest roasteries, roasting since 2002 — now out of Centurion.
TriBeCa Coffee grew out of a 1997 meeting between Dale Mazon, a barista who had landed in South Africa the year before, and accountant Martin Fitzgerald. They opened the roastery in Pretoria’s Koedoespoort in 2002 and built it into one of the country’s biggest. The range runs broad: a medium House Blend of Tanzania and Guatemala (malt, milk chocolate, tangerine), the darker 100% organic Gotham espresso, and a Kilimanjaro single origin from Tanzanian smallholders — a country the founders backed by summiting the mountain in 2009.
