The story.

Father Coffee has been roasting very good coffee since 2013, when it opened in Braamfontein. The roastery is now a Kramerville mothership — cupping lab, bakery and all — with a second café at The Zone in Rosebank. The team chases provenance, varietal and processing, releasing around 60 single-origin microlots a year from Ethiopia, Colombia and beyond, each cupping 85-plus on the SCA scale. Prefer something steady? The Heirloom Blend is their everyday espresso, built to play nicely with milk.
