The story.

Sorcery Coffee Roasters sits in the ruins of an old farm in Wapadrand, on Pretoria's eastern edge — owner Alicia Steyn started here with a single 1kg roaster and a day-one dream of becoming a roaster. She roasts gently to bring out each bean's character rather than its bitterness, with single origins like a natural Ethiopia Lalesa, a washed Guatemala Huehuetenango and a handful of Colombians. The cup ranges from classic chocolate and nutty to light, fruity and floral. Nominated Roastery of the Year three years running — 2022, 2023 and 2024.
