The story.

Lineage Coffee is Craig Charity's Hillcrest roastery. He was SA Barista Champion in 2013 and an All-African champion in 2017, and built Lineage as an expression of that pursuit of excellence and service to coffee. From the roastery in the Hillcrest Centre they roast micro-lots from across Africa, with QR codes on the bags linking to the farmers' micro-lot payment lists — their way of showing the farmer behind the cup. Beyond the beans, Lineage runs cafés in Hillcrest, Westville and Nottingham Road plus a training centre.
