The story.

Bluebird Coffee Roastery is Dario Scilipoti's quality-obsessed roastery in Howick, in the heart of the KZN Midlands. Since building their purpose-built home in 2022 — roastery, café, training centre and QC lab under one roof — they've focused on single origins and espresso blends, sourced with, in their words, line of sight to the farms and long-term relationships with producers. Expect light-roast specialty lots: Colombian Geishas, Kenyan and Rwandan micro-lots, washed and honey processed, with bright floral, berry and citrus notes.
